Ambassador Yasser El-Shimy, Egyptian Ambassador to Indonesia, handed over his credentials as Ambassador to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Egyptian Ambassador conveyed to the President of the Republic of Indonesia the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his wishes to the people and government of Indonesia for further progress and prosperity. The Egyptian Ambassador referred to the good relations between the two countries and expressed his aspiration to work with Indonesian officials to serve common interests. He also stressed his interest in permanent coordination and cooperation in It relates to regional and international issues of common interest, and to mutual support between the two countries within the framework of regional and international forums and organizations.
