Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, witnessed the activities of a dialogue session entitled “International Cooperation and its Impact on Building a Knowledge Economy,” which was held, in the presence of Ambassador Peter Mollema, Ambassador of the Netherlands in Cairo, Dr. Yasser Refaat, Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, and the presidents of some universities.
The Minister also thanked the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Cairo for hosting the activities of this session, noting that this meeting is a testimony to the permanent partnership between Egypt and the Netherlands, and at the same time represents a good opportunity to explore new ways of cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research.
For his part, Youngsuk Chi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Elsevier Foundation (YS), praised the close relationship between the Elsevier Foundation and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, which has resulted in the excellence of Egyptian researchers in the field of international publishing, and the quality of Egyptian scientific research, especially scientific research related to the United Nations sustainable development goals. .
