Today, Monday, during the activities of the World Government Summit in Dubai, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met with his Serbian counterpart, Ana Brnabic, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation, in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, And Ambassador Sherif Issa, Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE.

The Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to his Serbian counterpart, pointing in this regard to the results of the historic visit of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to Serbia in July 2022, explaining that it culminated in noticeable positive results for the two countries, stressing the importance of continuing the exchange of high-level visits. ; In order to maintain the momentum witnessed by bilateral relations in various fields.

The Prime Minister also congratulated his Serbian counterpart on holding early parliamentary and local elections on December 17, 2023 and holding the first session of the new Serbian Parliament on February 6, 2024.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly also praised the joint cooperation and coordination between Egypt and Serbia within the framework of international organizations, and the support for the two countries’ nominations for various international positions, especially in light of Serbian expression of initial support for the candidacy of Dr. Khaled Al-Anani for the position of Executive Director of UNESCO.
