Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, met with Yvonne Baumann, Swiss Ambassador to Egypt. To discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Egypt and Switzerland in the fields of higher education and scientific research, in the presence of Dr. Sherif Saleh, Head of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the Special Education Building in New Cairo.
Dr. Ayman Ashour explained that Egypt has 9 branches of prestigious foreign universities in the New Administrative Capital, which include a variety of study programs in various fields, such as engineering, science, medicine, humanities, and social sciences.
The Swiss Ambassador praised the level of distinguished relations between Egypt and Switzerland, stressing the importance of continuing cooperation in implementing joint scientific projects between the two countries, praising the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to invest in education and strengthen partnerships with international institutions.
