President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held an expanded discussion session, in the presence of the delegations of the two countries, regarding the current situation in the Palestinian territories. President Abu Mazen reviewed the latest developments in the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip and the catastrophic human tragedy they caused, in addition to the situation in the West Bank and the escalation of tension and violence witnessed by the Israeli side.
The Palestinian President also expressed great appreciation for Egypt's role in supporting and supportive of the Palestinian cause, historically and up to the present moment, in which Egypt is making great and tireless efforts, at all levels, to stop the bloodshed of the Palestinian people and support their efforts to obtain their legitimate rights.
