The Arab Republic of Egypt condemns in the strongest terms the attacks on oil facilities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the attacks targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which constitute unacceptable attacks on the sovereignty of states and civilian and vital infrastructure, a flagrant violation of international law, and a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region and undermines global energy security.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirms its full solidarity with both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its complete support for all measures they are taking to maintain their security and stability and protect their sovereignty and vital infrastructure. Egypt reiterates its categorical rejection of all attacks targeting civilian facilities and vital infrastructure or that infringe upon the security and sovereignty of Arab states.
