The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington is in a major crisis, according to Cairo News Channel.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that Tehran will not adhere to the terms of the memorandum of understanding with Washington unless the American side fulfills its commitments.
Earlier on Monday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that continued American interference in the Strait of Hormuz would lead to "greater incidents" in the global oil and gas sector, emphasizing that "ending the American military presence in the strait is the only way to ensure the smooth flow of navigation."
In a statement, the IRGC added that "the decisive and harsh military operations carried out by the Iranian armed forces have driven the American army to despair," accusing American forces of targeting an agricultural water pump in the city of Mahshahr, describing this as evidence of their "anti-people nature."
