Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad, affirmed that diplomatic solutions and peaceful settlements represent the only way to achieve security and stability.

This came in the speech delivered by the Foreign Minister during his participation today, Thursday, in the meeting of the BRICS Foreign Ministers in New Delhi, within the framework of strengthening coordination among member states regarding regional and international issues of common interest.

Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Minister Abdel-Aty expressed in his speech his aspiration to continue strengthening economic cooperation among the BRICS countries, supporting the role of the New Development Bank, and pushing forward with the implementation of joint projects in the energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and advanced technology sectors.

The Foreign Minister also addressed the initiatives proposed by Egypt within the BRICS framework, including the establishment of a grain logistics center in East Port Said to enhance food security, which contributes to supporting industrial, commercial, and investment cooperation among member states
