Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni welcomed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The Ugandan President affirmed, via his official X account, his aspiration for fruitful discussions aimed at strengthening the historical cooperation between the two countries and advancing the interests of the African continent.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived today, Wednesday, at Entebbe International Airport, at the start of an official visit to the Republic of Uganda. He was received upon arrival by Ruhakana Rugunda, the Ugandan President's Special Envoy for Special Missions, Ambassador Munther Selim, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Uganda, and members of the Egyptian Embassy in Kampala.

The President reviewed the guard of honor at the airport.

President El-Sisi then proceeded to the Presidential Palace in Entebbe to hold official talks with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
