President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi departs today for Kenya to participate in the Africa-France Summit, which will be held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, on May 11 and 12.
The official spokesperson for the Presidency stated that the summit is being held under the theme "Africa Forward" and aims to strengthen the African-French economic partnership, focusing on the challenges of economic growth, digital transformation, energy, and reform of the international financial system, as well as integrating African priorities within global economic frameworks. The summit will witness broad participation from African leaders, the French President, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and numerous heads of international and regional financial organizations, in addition to representatives of the African and French business sectors.
