The Egyptian Red Crescent launched the "Zad Al-Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza" 184th convoy on Tuesday, carrying a number of trucks towards the Gaza Strip, as part of its role as a national mechanism for coordinating the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip.

The convoy included approximately 4,685 tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, including: approximately 2,620 tons of food baskets and flour; more than 405 tons of medicines, relief supplies, and personal hygiene items; approximately 1,660 tons of petroleum products to operate hospitals and vital facilities in the Strip; in addition to more than 1,595 blankets and 5,460 pieces of clothing. In a related context, the Egyptian Red Crescent continued its humanitarian services at the Rafah crossing, preparing to receive the 38th group of wounded, sick, and injured Palestinians, both those arriving and departing, along with their companions. The Red Crescent facilitated crossing procedures, distributed hot meals, provided clothing and personal hygiene items, and distributed "return kits" to those returning to the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian Red Crescent has been present at the border since the beginning of the crisis, as the Rafah crossing has never been completely closed from the Egyptian side. It has maintained its readiness at all logistical centers and its ongoing efforts to deliver humanitarian and relief aid, which has exceeded 900,000 tons, thanks to the efforts of more than 65,000 volunteers.
