The Ministry of Interior has decided to grant inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers two exceptional visits on the occasion of the celebration of Easter and Sinai Liberation Day in 2026, as part of its commitment to supporting inmates' family ties.

The Ministry explained that the decision allows all inmates the opportunity to receive their families during the period from Sunday, April 12, 2026, until Thursday, May 21, 2026, which will contribute to bringing them joy and allowing them to share in the celebration of various occasions.

The Ministry of Interior affirmed that this step comes within the framework of implementing the modern penal policy that aims to rehabilitate inmates and reintegrate them into society, while upholding human rights values ​​and providing them with social and humanitarian care.
