Rain and wind hit Qena amid overcast skies

Qena Governorate is experiencing light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by brisk winds and overcast skies. The governorate has raised its alert level to maximum in anticipation of severe weather conditions. The Governor of Qena confirmed the readiness of flood drainage systems.

Major General Dr. Mustafa El-Biblawi, Governor of Qena, stressed the need to raise the level of preparedness to maximum across all executive bodies, vital facilities, local units, and service directorates in the governorate, in preparation for the severe weather, following warnings from the Meteorological Authority.

The Governor of Qena urged citizens during this period of unstable weather to exercise caution while driving on desert and agricultural roads, to stay away from signs, advertisements, and trees, and to adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions to ensure their safety.
