On Martyrs' Day... The Arab Academy Embraces Hamza Mansi's Dream: From "Son of a Hero" to a Success Story
3/15/2026

In a moving scene during the Martyrs' Day commemoration, the appearance of young Hamza Ahmed Mansi alongside President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was not merely a fleeting protocol snapshot, but a profound national message affirming that Egypt does not forget the children of its heroes, and that loyalty extends to building a future worthy of the martyrs' sacrifices.

Behind this touching moment stands a shining example of national excellence, represented by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, which not only provided educational support but also embraced a comprehensive human development path for the son of a martyr. The Story Begins: A Scholarship Transformed into a Mission of Care

The story began in 2020 when Hamza Ahmed Mansi, a child, carried a great national legacy as the son of the heroic martyr Ahmed Mansi, one of the most prominent heroes of the Armed Forces who wrote an epic of heroism in the fight against terrorism.

At that moment, the Arab Academy took a significant humanitarian and educational decision. Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, directed that Hamza be granted a full scholarship to the Academy's International School, with a guaranteed place for him in one of its colleges in the future.

This scholarship was not merely traditional academic support, but a commitment to care and nurturing, aimed at providing a comprehensive educational and developmental environment that fosters the child's self-confidence and opens horizons of excellence and success for him.
