Inquiry Regarding Delay in Delivering Textbooks to Students at Various Educational Levels
2/17/2026

Dr. Ayman Mohasseb, a member of Parliament, submitted an inquiry to Speaker Hisham Badawi, addressed to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education and Technical Education, regarding the delay in delivering textbooks and assessment materials to students at various educational levels, despite the start of the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year and the implementation of the weekly assessment system.

In his inquiry, Mohasseb explained that parents and students in several governorates were surprised to find that they had not yet received their textbooks, even though classes had resumed in schools, the curriculum had been taught, and the weekly assessments, which are supposed to be based on the official curriculum approved by the Ministry, had been implemented. This situation places students and their families in a very difficult position and creates confusion within the educational process.
