EgyptAir has signed a global partnership and cooperation agreement with one of the world's largest football clubs in terms of popularity, history, and global market value – FC Barcelona. Under this agreement, EgyptAir will be a "global partner" of FC Barcelona until the end of the 2028/2029 season.

Under this partnership, the airline will be the "exclusive official airline partner" of the men's first football team, the basketball team, and the handball team. Additionally, the handball team will wear the EgyptAir logo on the front of their jerseys during official matches, along with several other marketing benefits granted to EgyptAir throughout the contract period.

In this context, the signing of the partnership protocol with FC Barcelona represents a significant milestone in EgyptAir's journey to enhance its global brand. This collaboration brings together two prestigious names with an international presence and national influence: EgyptAir, the national carrier of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and FC Barcelona – one of the oldest and most prominent sports clubs in the world.
