President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized Egypt's solidarity with Tunisia in the face of the fires that have affected parts of its territory, affirming Egypt's full readiness to provide the necessary support in this regard.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a telephone call today with Tunisian President Kais Saied.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the call came within the framework of the ongoing coordination between the two countries and their leaders. President El-Sisi began by congratulating Tunisia, its leadership and people, on the 69th anniversary of the proclamation of the Tunisian Republic, noting the strength of the fraternal relations between the two countries, based on a shared history and deep-rooted ties that bind the two brotherly peoples. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
