President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received President Jakop Milatović of Montenegro on Monday.

The official spokesperson for the Presidency stated that the welcoming ceremony included a guard of honor, the playing of the national anthems of both countries, and a group photo of the two presidents. This was followed by a bilateral meeting between the two presidents, then expanded talks with the delegations of both countries, and finally a luncheon hosted by President El-Sisi in honor of the visiting president and his accompanying delegation.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson, noted that President El-Sisi welcomed President Milatović's visit, emphasizing its significance as the first presidential visit since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries following Montenegro's independence in 2006.
