Ambassador Bassam Radi, Egypt's Ambassador to Rome, stated that the July Revolution established the first republic in 1952, and that since 2014, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt has witnessed comprehensive and meticulously planned strategic efforts to establish the new republic and move towards becoming a modern state. He noted that the invitation is open to all Italian friends to visit Egypt and experience firsthand the landmarks and pillars of the new republic. He added that Egypt cherishes its long-standing historical partnership with Italy and looks forward to developing it in all fields. He emphasized his pride in the unprecedented level of cooperation achieved in bilateral relations between the two countries, thanks to the guidance and support of the two countries' leaders, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. This came during a grand celebration organized by Ambassador Bassam Radi, the Egyptian Ambassador to Rome, at the Egyptian Embassy in Rome, on the occasion of the anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution. The event was attended by a host of prominent figures from Italian society, including business leaders, industrialists, politicians, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations in Rome, and senior Italian officials.

Also present were members of the Egyptian community in Italy, members of the Egyptian Embassy in Rome, and Colonel Mohamed Shaheen, the Egyptian Defense Attaché. During the celebration, a short film was shown about the second edition of the El Alamein International Aviation and Space Exhibition, which Egypt will host in the new city of El Alamein this coming September at El Alamein International Airport. The exhibition has evolved from a specialized event into a strategic platform for exchanging expertise, showcasing the latest innovations, and strengthening international cooperation in the fields of aviation, defense, and space. This will enhance Egypt's standing and its pivotal role in Africa and the Middle East. A high-level Italian delegation, along with representatives from specialized Italian companies, is expected to attend.
