The 233rd "Zad Al-Izza" aid convoy enters Gaza
7/13/2026

This convoy of trucks carrying humanitarian aid, "Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza," began entering the Gaza Strip on Monday through the Rafah border crossing, heading towards the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, in preparation for its entry into the Strip. This is part of Egypt's ongoing efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, which is affecting more than two million Palestinians.

An official source at the Egyptian Red Crescent stated that the trucks in the convoy were carrying large quantities of food and relief aid, including food baskets, flour, fresh bread, legumes, canned goods, medicine, personal hygiene items, tents, clothing, and petroleum products. The source noted that the trucks were being inspected by the Israeli authorities before entering the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army announced a 10-hour "temporary truce" (Sunday, July 27, 2025) and suspended military operations in parts of the Gaza Strip to allow for the delivery of humanitarian aid.
