President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a congratulatory message to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and Head of State of the Vatican City State, on the occasion of the celebration of the Vatican's National Day.

His Excellency also dispatched Mohamed Atef Abdel Hamid, Secretary at the Presidency, to the Embassy of the Holy See (Vatican) in Cairo to convey his congratulations on this occasion.
