Minister of Education: Investment Portfolios to be Opened for Students Passing Financial Literacy Course

Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mohamed Abdel Latif, confirmed that the Financial Literacy course for secondary school students will be an extracurricular activity, not a pass/fail subject.

He added that students who successfully complete the course requirements will have investment portfolios opened for them on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, provided in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance.

The Minister explained, in press statements, that this step comes within the framework of the state's vision to build a generation with financial awareness that meets the demands of the modern era, especially in light of digital transformation and developments in artificial intelligence. He emphasized that the goal is to enhance financial literacy among students from an early age.
