President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call today from Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
The official spokesperson for the Presidency stated that the call addressed current regional developments. The President reviewed Egypt's efforts to end the war, emphasizing the necessity of concerted international and regional efforts to achieve this goal and to spare the countries and peoples of the region the consequences of instability and disruption to energy markets and international supply chains.
The President also stressed Egypt's unequivocal condemnation of the attacks on brotherly Arab states and its rejection of any infringement upon their sovereignty, stability, and the well-being of their people, reaffirming Egypt's steadfast position in support of these brotherly Arab states.
