The Egyptian Meteorological Authority issued an important advisory regarding the evolving weather conditions. The latest satellite images indicate a dense cloud cover across most of the country, obscuring sunlight and coinciding with varying intensities of rainfall in parts of southern Egypt.
The Authority explained that as the day progresses, the chance of rain is expected to gradually extend to areas in the north of the country, reaching some parts of Greater Cairo, intermittently.
The Authority attributed these weather fluctuations to a decrease in surface humidity levels in the north of the country, which contributes to creating conditions conducive to the formation of rain clouds and their movement towards wider areas. The Egyptian Meteorological Authority confirmed that it is closely monitoring the weather situation around the clock, updating forecasts regularly, and urged citizens to follow official weather bulletins to make necessary preparations.
