The body of actress Fatima Koshary, one of the most famous extras in Egyptian cinema, arrived a short while ago at the Martyrs' Mosque, near the Ahmed Helmy bus station and the Ahmed Helmy fire station in the Shubra district of Cairo, for her funeral. A number of family members and relatives were present.

Condolences today.

Amr, the son of actress Fatima Koshary, told Al-Ahram Gate that the condolences will be held today, Monday, after Maghrib prayer, in a hall adjacent to the Martyrs' Mosque, in the same area near the Ahmed Helmy bus station and the fire station.

Actress Fatima Koshary (Fatima El-Sayed Awadallah) is a prominent figure in comedic roles. She began her career in 1989 with the film "The Struggle of the Grandchildren," followed by the Kuwaiti play "Crisis and Transgression" the next year. Throughout her career, she has appeared in dozens of films, plays, and television series, including notable works such as "Keda Okeh," "Shikamara," "The Best of Times," and "Ya Ana Ya Khalty."

Audiences also fondly remember her famous scene with actor Ahmed Mekky on Baltim Beach, a scene that has remained etched in viewers' memories for many years.
