Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that these intensive contacts come within the framework of Egypt's keenness to continue coordination and consultation with its Arab brothers and with regional and international partners regarding the rapidly evolving security situation in the region, and to explore ways to contain the ongoing military escalation. This escalation, with its expanding scope and reach, could drag the entire region into widespread chaos with unforeseen consequences that would harm regional and international peace and security.
