Al Ahly is nearing a deal to sign Mustafa Qabil, the Iraqi U-23 national team striker and Erbil FC star, with the aim of acquiring him during the current winter transfer window.

The young player impressed Al Ahly officials, both the board and the coaching staff, which has brought the club close to finalizing the deal within the next few hours.

Al Ahly has already secured the approval of Erbil FC and the player to complete the transfer, and only the finalization of the contracts and the inclusion of some final clauses remain before the official announcement of the deal.

The player is 21 years old and can play as a winger or second striker. He has participated in 12 matches in the Iraqi league this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists.
