Engineer Abdel-Sadek El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority, Dr. Fayez Farahat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahram Foundation, and journalist Magid Mounir, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram newspaper, launched the celebratory events marking the 150th anniversary of the foundation, which are being held today under the title: "A Journey of Enlightenment... The Nation's Memory," under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister.

The celebration will be held in the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population; Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade; Dr. Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance; Eng. Abdel Sadek El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority; journalist Ahmed El-Moslemany, Chairman of the National Media Authority; Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo; and Dr. Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs.

The Al-Ahram Foundation's 150th anniversary celebration, titled "A Journey of Enlightenment: The Nation's Memory," is being held today under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister.
