The Israeli Detainees' Families Committee expressed concern following reports that the Israeli army intends to carry out operations in the central Gaza Strip, according to Cairo News Channel.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the Detainees' Families Committee responded to the Israeli army's announcement of its intention to operate in areas it has not yet operated in the Gaza Strip, writing: "Can anyone promise us that this decision will not come at the expense of losing our loved ones? It is a tangible and direct threat to their fate."
