Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel has achieved its goal of eliminating the Iranian nuclear and missile threat, according to Cairo News Channel.

Netanyahu added that Israel will respond forcefully to any violations of the ceasefire.

He confirmed that Israel has agreed to Trump's proposal for a ceasefire with Iran.

Iran's Press TV reported that the ceasefire began after four waves of Iranian attacks on the occupied territories.

US President Donald Trump said that an agreement had been reached between Tel Aviv and Tehran for a complete and comprehensive ceasefire, which will take effect in approximately six hours.
