Egypt and 19 Islamic and Arab countries demand an end to Israeli hostilities against Iran

The foreign ministers of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Chad, the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Union of the Comoros, the Republic of Djibouti, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Sudan, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the State of Libya, and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania affirmed a set of principles in light of rapid regional developments and the unprecedented escalation of tension in the Middle East as a result of the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. In a joint statement on behalf of 20 countries, the rejection and condemnation of the Israeli attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran since the dawn of June 13, 2025, as well as any practices that constitute a violation of international law and the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations, were affirmed. They also emphasized the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, the principles of good neighborliness, and the peaceful settlement of disputes.
