The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced a temporary drop in temperatures on Sunday in the northern regions of the country, including Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt. Hot weather will prevail during the day and tend to be hot on the northern coasts, while extremely hot weather will continue in South Sinai and the southern regions.

The Authority expects mild weather at night across most parts of the country, with relatively active winds in scattered areas, which may cause sand and dust storms on some desert roads.
