Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, said, "Museums are the incubator of the nation's memory and a lively space for generations to interact with their heritage and identity. Our celebration of International Museum Day is an open invitation to the public, especially young people, to discover the artistic and intellectual treasures held by these cultural institutions."

Opening Museums Freely to the Public

This came within the framework of the celebration of International Museum Day, which falls on May 18 of each year. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, announced that all art and national museums affiliated with the Ministry of Culture will be open today, Sunday, to the public free of charge, in celebration of International Museum Day.
