The blessed month of Ramadan is the month of the Qur'an and worship. It is a month in which the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed. Muslims compete in acts of obedience and devotion. One of the greatest acts of worship in this blessed month is supplication in the last third of the night, especially during the Suhoor meal.

Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven at the time of Suhoor and says: "Is there a supplicant that I may answer him? Is there a petitioner that I may give him? Is there a seeker of forgiveness that I may accept his repentance?"
