Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aty affirmed Egypt's continued efforts to help the Libyan parties reach consensus and promote the Libyan-Libyan solution.

This came during his meeting with the new UN Envoy to Libya, Hanna Tetteh, where he stressed the need for all foreign forces, foreign fighters, and mercenaries to withdraw from Libya within a specific timeframe, in a manner that preserves Libya's unity, integrity, and stability.
