Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, met with Mr. Tariq Ali, Qatar's Ambassador to Egypt, its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, and his accompanying delegation, at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.

The Minister of Social Solidarity welcomed the visit of the Qatari Ambassador and his accompanying delegation, noting the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as the distinguished cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Social Development and Family in the State of Qatar within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two ministries.

The Minister of Social Solidarity is scheduled to participate as a speaker in the activities of the high-level dialogue session entitled "Enhancing the Stability of the Marital Institution Based on Scientific Evidence and Research Partnership to Support Intervention Policies and Programs", as part of the activities of the international conference.

The meeting also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides in the fields of social and development work between the two countries, and the exchange of expertise between the two brotherly countries in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministries of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Social Development and the Qatari Family.
