Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, received a report from Dr. Sayed Kasab, Director of the Classifications Unit, regarding Stanford University's announcement of a list of the world's top 2% most cited scientists in various disciplines for the year 2024, as Cairo University topped all Egyptian universities with 76 scientists, followed by Ain Shams University with 58 scientists, then Mansoura and Zagazig Universities with 51 scientists.
