The Egyptian Embassy in Athens celebrates the October anniversary. Participants praise the army’s heroics and the achievements achieved during the president’s era.

  The Defense Office of the Egyptian Embassy in Athens held a celebration of the golden jubilee of the fiftieth anniversary of the anniversary of the October victories. A large number of leaders from the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs and a group of diplomats and attachés of defense offices in various countries participated in the celebration, in the presence of many Members of the Egyptian community and public figures.

The celebration ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Greek national anthem, and the showing of a documentary film that included the tremendous development witnessed by the Egyptian Armed Forces in recent years, which enabled it to assume an advanced position among the ranks of militarily advanced countries.

The film also included the most important achievements that Egypt witnessed during the last decade in various fields: infrastructure, roads and transportation, energy and electricity, health care, trade and industry, tourism and antiquities, as the scale of the achievements aroused the amazement and admiration of the audience.
