Ambassador Bassam Rady, spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that Egypt is proud of its extended and distinguished historical relations with Italy at the governmental and popular levels, and looks forward to developing relations with it and working within the framework of the firm partnership that brings the two countries together in order to develop bilateral relations between them and transfer them to broader horizons of fruitful cooperation in In all fields, in a manner consistent with the ancient history of the two countries, their great civilization, and their pivotal position in the Mediterranean, and for the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
Bassam Rady added that the meeting is expected to deal with a number of important strategic files regarding bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as discussions and exchange of visions on regional and international issues of common concern.
