Jordanian Parliament Speaker Ahmed Safadi praised the Egyptian-Jordanian relations, stressing that the relations between Cairo and Amman are rooted and historical.

Al-Safadi said - in an interview with the director of the Middle East News Agency office in Amman - that the brotherly relationship between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, confirms the strength of the Egyptian-Jordanian relations, stressing that Egypt remained in the trench of the nation, defending it in various adversities and crises.

He expressed his aspiration for more cooperation and coordination with the Egyptian parliament, during the next stage, in order to develop legislation towards more cooperation and integration between the two countries, stressing that the Egyptian-Jordanian-Iraqi tripartite cooperation is a role model for Arab-Arab cooperation.

Regarding the Egyptian-Jordanian cooperation in the legislation and laws sector, Safadi said, "I extend my greetings and appreciation to the great leadership, parliament, government, and people of Egypt.
