Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, held, yesterday, Monday, at the headquarters of the Ministry’s General Court, a meeting with members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, to discuss coordination in developing a future vision aimed at improving the investment environment and discussing innovation opportunities in the health investment file between the two sectors (public and private), with returns Benefit from improving the quality of health services, in line with achieving the goals of sustainable development.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Health and Population thanked the ministry's leaders, representatives of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, health care service providers and private sector companies, for their efforts to enhance cooperation to improve the quality of health care services, as well as joint cooperation in supporting the regularity of the workflow with the initiatives of the President. Republic under the slogan (100 million health), stressing the importance of community participation in the development of Egyptian society.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the meeting discussed investment opportunities in the health care and medicine sectors, making the Egyptian state among the first ranks in this file.
