Ambassador Soha Gendy, Minister of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, said that the presidential initiative "speak In Arabic", which was launched by the ministry, aims primarily at preserving the Egyptian identity and linking young Egyptians abroad to the homeland so that they do not feel alienated, not only through language, but also through knowledge of the heritage of their homeland, Egypt. Its roots are deeply rooted in history and its ancient civilization.

In her statements, the Minister of Immigration stated that awareness of Egyptian antiquities and heritage is an integral part of these goals.

This came during a meeting between Ambassador Suha Gendy, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, with Representative Siham Bishai, member of the Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Gamal, Deputy Director of the Toghether For Heritage Foundation, and Dr. Maria Lundy, Deputy Director of the Foundation for Egypt and North Africa, to discuss Ways of cooperation in the field of strengthening the national identity of Egyptians abroad through historical and heritage awareness for them. The meeting was attended by Ambassador Amr Abbas, Assistant Minister of Immigration for Communities Affairs.
