The 29th session of the Executive Committee, special committee meetings, the legal team meeting, and the Committee of the Arab Parliamentary Excellence Award of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union began today in Cairo, which is chaired by the Kingdom of Bahrain in its current session, led by Representative Ahmed Abdul Wahed Karrata, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and with the participation of the Parliamentarial Union.
Its operations started this morning, Wednesday, and will last until January 7, 2023.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the mini-committee emanating from the Executive Committee, which discusses proposals to amend the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union's Charter and internal system, as well as the meeting of the legal team, the guiding models on environmental crimes, intellectual property, and electronic crimes.
