Dr. received Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Ambassador Michele Quarani, Ambassador of Italy to Cairo, at the Ministry's headquarters to discuss the mechanisms of scientific and technological cooperation between Egypt and Italy.
At the start of the meeting, the minister praised the distinguished bilateral ties between Egypt and Italy, highlighting the strength of those ties in the fields of higher education and scientific research. She also stressed the necessity of continuing to carry out joint scientific projects between Egypt and Italy and utilising the Italian expertise in fields like engineering, science, and technology.
The Italian ambassador, for his part, praised the cooperation between Egypt and Italy in the higher education fields, expressing his joy at Egypt's experiences with cooperation, particularly in the area of technical and technological education, such as the "Don Bosco" school, and reiterating the importance of continuing cooperation in carrying out joint scientific projects between the two nations.
