Amid an unprecedented global presence, the activities of the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Summit continue today, with the launch of the Finance Day, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and a large number of ministers, led by Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, with the participation of finance ministers of international countries, managers of banks and international financial institutions, and David Malpass, President of the Bank Group International Monetary Fund and Christiana Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund.
The Funding Day is scheduled to witness 17 events addressing the dimensions of the issue of financing, research and discussion of new visions of financing.
The high-level sessions will address the mechanisms of facilitating green recovery through a new initiative with the participation of the private sector to expand sustainable development projects.
