Ambassador Bassam Radi, speaking on behalf of the Republic's Presidency, stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi directed the acceleration of executive steps to establish strategic stores for medical storage at the level of the Republic with the goal of having the ability to provide a strategic reserve to cover the needs of current and future consumption of medical supplies and medicine, in accordance with international standards and using the latest technological advances.
The presidential spokesman stated that the meeting was attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs, and Major General Doctor Bahaa El-Din Zeidan, Chairman of the Council of Ministers. Management of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Medical Supply, and the Department of Medical Technology, Major General Hisham Mostafa Souefi, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General Mohamed Mostafa Laban, Director of Military Works Department, Dean Dr. Engineer Ahmed Salah Abu Al-Azm, Strategic Stores Consultant at the Military Technical College, and Mr. Ayman Soliman, CEO of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt.
