The Arab Labor Organization's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nasser Al-Meir, praised the Arab Republic of Egypt and President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi for supporting the Arab Labor Conference's activities.

Al-Meir welcomed the attendance of ministers and ambassadors from 21 Arab nations, emphasising that the Arab world is suffering similar difficulties, particularly in the aftermath of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

This was stated during his speech at the opening session of the Arab Labor Conference, which was organised by the Arab Labor Organization of the League of Arab States and will be attended by labour ministers, heads and members of delegations from employers' organisations and labour unions from 21 Arab countries, representatives of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, and Arab and international organisations.

Al-Meer added that the conference is celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Arab Labor Organization's creation (1965-2020) as well as recognising "pioneers representing various member nations of the organisation" with the three production parties during this session.
