Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, announced the launch of specialized educational convoys to eradicate illiteracy in Giza Governorate, and will last for a month, with a convoy every Tuesday, and organized by the Faculty of Early Childhood Education under the supervision of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, as part of a project "Village without illiteracy" to eradicate illiteracy in the villages of Giza Governorate in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education in Giza.

It is worth noting that Cairo University witnessed a qualitative leap in launching convoys, as the community service and environmental development sector intensified the launch of specialized convoys, which began by launching medical convoys for the care of the elderly, educational convoys to eradicate illiteracy, and convoys to teach handicrafts in the framework of activating the "Sinaiyeh Egypt" initiative, in addition to convoys Psychological support and addiction control
