The celebrations, marking the 130th anniversary of Dar al-Ifta al-Misriyyah, began a short while ago in the main hall of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Institutions Worldwide. A distinguished group of prominent religious and executive figures are in attendance, including former Grand Muftis and the families of deceased Grand Muftis who contributed to the institution's journey over more than a century of service.

The program includes the screening of a documentary film chronicling the rich history of Dar al-Ifta al-Misriyyah, highlighting its key milestones and its contributions to renewing religious discourse and establishing a moderate approach. The celebration will also include speeches by a number of former Grand Muftis, who will address the national and scholarly role Dar al-Ifta has played in supporting societal stability, serving the nation's causes, and documenting its rich history throughout the ages.

The ceremony will conclude with the honoring of the former Grand Muftis in recognition of their scholarly and legal contributions, and their role in the development of fatwa-issuing and institutional work within Dar al-Ifta.
