The construction of the Tahya Misr 2 multi-purpose terminal at berth 100 in Dekheila Port has witnessed significant progress. The project provides integrated infrastructure to support international trade and enhances the port's position as one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean basin.

Construction of a World-Class Container Terminal

The project includes the construction of a world-class container terminal equipped with state-of-the-art technology on a 1,200-meter-long berth, part of the total 1,680-meter length of berth 100, with a depth of 18 meters and a total area of ​​approximately 840,000 square meters. A contract was previously signed between the Alexandria Port Authority and the global consortium Hutchison-MSC for the construction of the superstructure, management, operation, maintenance, and handover of the container terminal at Berth 100.

This step comes within the framework of the Sokhna-Alexandria Integrated Logistics Corridor for Containers project, which aims to connect the Red Sea and the Mediterranean and enhance regional and international trade.
